Biography
Barney Allman, senior instructor, received his MBA from the University of South Carolina in 1973 where he began his teaching career. His areas of expertise are human resource management and small business.
Mr. Allman rejoined the faculty in 1978 after working with Continental Can Co. and teaching at the University of Virginia (South Hill). He is a recipient of the University's Ada B. Thomas Outstanding Advisor of the Year award and a former College Distinguished Teacher Of The Year. He has taught classes in South America (Ecuador) and Eastern Europe (Slovakia).
He is a member of: The South Carolina Day Care Association, Self Service Car Wash Association, and Roller Skating Association.
